The Center for European Studies and Humanities "Ioannis Kapodistrias " in collaboration with the Panteion University and the Russian Embassy in Athens , organized a conference entitled " 175 years of Hellenic- Russian diplomatic relations. 
Particular emphasis was given to the contribution of Ioannis Kapodistrias , the first Governor of the Modern Greek State, Foreign Minister of Russia , as an international politician and diplomat in Europe in the 19th century. The conference was attended by personalities from the political, diplomatic, academic and business sectors from Greece, Russia and other European countries.
